Brimhaven Dungeon is a large cavern located below the tropical city of Brimhaven, which can be found on Karamja Island. There are a number of strong monsters inside, so it is highly advised that you bring armor and food with with you when training.

What to Bring

Required Equipment

  • Armor - Initiate, Proselyte or Monk Robes since this armour gives a prayer bonus and it's not very valuable.
  • Weapon - Dragon Scimitar, Barrows weapon, or an Abyssal Whip.
  • Food - Lobsters or Sharks
  • 905gp - 30gp for the boat ride and 875gp to enter the dungeon. You may need more if you're taking a Charter Ship.
  • Teleportation Method - Runes, Glory Amulet, Ectophial, etc.
  • Woodcutting Axe
  • Prayer Potions

If Slaying Dragons

  • Anti Dragonfire Shield
  • Anti Dragonfire Potion - used with the Anti Dragonfire Shield; optional, but helpful for lower levels.
  • Extra Prayer Potions

Helpful Stats:

  • A high combat level
  • 34+ Agility will get you through all the agility obstacles
  • 22+ Agility gets you over the log balance
  • 12+ Agility will get you across the stepping stones
  • 43+ Prayer

Getting There

The colors indicate what routes there are to Brimhaven Dungeon.

The prices are as follows:

Now that you have paid Saniboch the entrance fee, you should be able to walk into the Dungeon.

Inside the Dungeon

Once your inside, there is a big variety of rare monsters to train on, such as Fire Giants and Metal Dragons. Occasionally, you will find some vines that will block your pathway. Luckily, if you use a good woodcutting axe, the vines will take no more than three seconds to cut.

Cut down vine

Your going to need the objects specified at the beginning of this guide. Also there are some pictures of the dragons below. If you want an in depth guide to dragon hunting this isn't for you, this is just some basics, here are some in depth guides.

  • Dragon Hunting
  • Metal Dragon Hunting

Some General Requirements Are:

- Baby Red Dragons - 60+ Combat

- Bronze Dragons - 65+ Combat

- Red Dragons - 70+ Combat

- Iron Dragons - 75 + Combat

- Steel Dragons - 90+ Combat

Note: All of these require 43 Prayer.

Now you know the requirements you should be ready.

All of the dragons require 43 prayer & An Anti Dragonfire resistant with the exception of the Baby Red Dragon which doesn't need either. But training on Baby Red's isn't advised. If your after Baby Dragon Bones kill Baby Green's or if you don't like the wilderness, Baby Blue's.

Also, both types of Red Dragons are the only dragons accessible without having to go past level 172 Black Demons It seems like a lot but the can't touch you with prayer.

Most people who come to Brimhaven Dungeon come for the 3 prestigious creatures: the Metal Dragons! If you read the above passage you should know you have to go past level 172 Black Demons but as said before, they can't touch you with prayer.

Once you're at the Black Demons, there will be Iron and Steel Dragons to the south, Bronze Dragons to the East, and Red and Baby Red Dragons to the north.

Mage is recommended for killing these dragons but melee works fine, however range is strongly not recommended.

If you're low on Prayer Potions and are out of or low on food, Run or Teleport immediately!

Runescape Dungeon Guides: Ape Atoll Temple Dungeon

Article From runescape.salmoneus.net,Written By Warren

Special Thanks to Neo Avatars, Pilot, Nick

Did you know that there is a Dungeon under the Temple on the Ape Atoll? This dungeon is used for two quests, Monkey Madness and Recipe for Disaster. Currently the dungeon is not very big, as there is a locked gate which blocks the passage to the west. In the future this Dungeon may be well used in a sequel to Monkey Madness!

Getting There

Go to the Temple located in Ape Atoll and enter the trapdoor. It is advisable to become a monkey using your Monkey Greegree from Monkey Madness as you won't take damage from the Monkey Guards. It you are a Human I recommend to use Protect From Melee as you won't take damage, and there is always a Monkey Alter in the Temple which you can pray at if you are running low on prayer.

Wall of Flames

This is used in the Monkey Madness, at the part when you have to make the amulet. Besides that, it is not used for anything else.

An 'Exit'

Exit

No this is not the way out of the Dungeon, its a crack that you can squeeze through which leads you to a separate room. Make sure that you are a Zombie Monkey (like in the picture) as there is lava on the floor which you need to cross. If you are not in Zombie Monkey form when crossing this, you will get hurt badly. There is a Rock in the middle of the room which you use during Recipe for Disaster to cook the King's Meal. This room has no other purpose.

A very hot rock

Inaccessible Door

There is a inaccessible door if you follow the passage down. Currently this has none known purposes but who knows? Later on it might be used in a new sequel to Monkey Madness! You can still see what is in the other room though. Nothing really apart from Monkey Zombies, but if you look closely you might see a Monkey Skull. Ooo, Spooky.

A locked door

Leaving the Dungeon

Go back to the start of the Dungeon where you first came in and you should see a Climbing-Rope. Climb up it and you should be back where you started - in the Temple.

Original Guide By Lima Bean

Special Thanks To -Ryan-, Baby Luigi, Golden arm42, Lima Bean, Mrcsupertrain, Damaged500

Welcome to the Varrock Sewers! This area is very interesting with many different attractions, despite the revolting odor you may encounter.

Getting There

Varrock teleportStart off at Varrock, easily accessed by using the Varrock Teleport spell (requires 25 Magic, three Air Runes, one Fire Rune, and one Law Rune) or simply by walking.

Route from the center of varrock to the sewer entrance

The manhole, acting as an entrance to the sewers, can be found northeast of Horvik's Armory.

Inside the Dungeon

(1) Rats

When you climb down the manhole, you will find a large area inhabited by some Level-1 Rats and three Level-3 and Level-6 Giant Rats. They are popular monsters for training on in the sewers. In the northwestern area, just south of a small stream of water, you can find Sir Prysin's key if you are doing the quest, Demon Slayer. In addition, members can find Phingspet and Grimesquit, two women who play a role in the Rat Catchers Quest.

(2) Zombies

Heading north through the eastern passage, you will come across a couple of Level-13 Zombies. You can also see a few Level-1 Rats scurrying about.

(3) Scorpions

North of the Zombies, you will see some Level-14 Scorpions, some more Rats, a dead tree which you can chop down, and a small stream.

Scorpions

(4) Rack

If you continue southwest, you'll arrive at a small room with two Level-6 Giant Rats. North of that is a room with a rack with a corpse beside it.

Eek, a torture rack?!

(5) Skeletons

Proceed northwest and you'll come across a few Level-21 Skeletons a couple of dead trees, a small bed, and the stream you saw earlier. These Skeletons are trained on often because they are often maged from the other side of the stream. A popular spell used against them is Crumble Undead (requires 39 Magic, two Earth Runes, two Air Runes, and one Chaos Rune). It's very powerful against Skeletons, Zombies, Ghosts, and Shades (the first three can be found in the sewers).

Skeletons

(6) Ghosts

Just west of the Skeletons, you will come upon a small room filled with some Level-19 Ghosts.

Some spooky ghosts

(7) Rune Respawn

Continue southwest and you'll discover an area with a respawn of one Mind and one Body Rune. There are also some Level-24 Zombies. These Zombies can be trained on across the stream from the area you can find Sir Prysin's key. You'll also spot a ladder you can climb up.

(8) Grizzly Bear Cage

If you climb up the ladder you just saw, you'll stumble upon a cage containing a dying tree you can chop down, two respawns of three and four coins, and a Level-21 Grizzly Bear.

(9) Web

Continue west and you'll arrive at a room with two Level-25 Skeletons. To the south of the room is a web. You'll need a sharp blade (e.g. scimitar, knife) to slash through it and continue through the sewers.

A sticky spider web!

(10) Spiders

Once you make it past the web, to the southeast you'll come across many Level-1 Spiders and Level-2 and 27 Giant Spiders. You can also find a Knife respawn. You can use a Knife with the web to cut through it.

Some giant spiders

(11) Deadly Red Spiders

Continue west along with the small stream of water and you'll arrive at a very large room filled with Level-34 Deadly Red Spiders. They are popular to train on. There are also many coin respawns, a respawn containing six Earth Runes, an Iron Axe respawn, and two Red Spiders' Eggs respawn. Red Spiders' Eggs is an ingredient used for making Strength Potions if you give it to the Apothecary in Varrock, along with Limpwurt Roots and five coins.

That spider looks pretty vicious

(12) Moss Giants

To the west there are two rooms containing Level-42 Moss Giants. They are being trained on very often. The northern Moss Giant room also contains an Obstacle Pipe, which requires an Agility level of 51 to use. It leads to the Edgeville Dungeon.
