Runescape Quest Guide: Zogre Flesh Eaters

==>All Runescape Guide List<==

==>Runescape Quest Guide List<==

Runescape Quest Start: Begin by speaking to Grish located west of Ogre City and south of Castle Wars.

Runescape Skills: You must be able to defeat a level 111 enemy.

Quests: Big Chompy Bird Hunting and Jungle Potion.

Recommended Skills: Level 4 Smithing, 8 Herblore, 20 Strength, 30 Fletching and Ranged, and level 43 Prayer will help.

What You Need: Papyrus, Charcoal, Rogues Purse, Snake Weed, Achey Logs, Wolf Bones, Bow String, Axe, Hammer, Nails (any metal), Prayer Potions, Food, feathers.

Getting Started

First, speak to Grish (located South of the Castle Wars Arena), and he will give you some Cooked Chompies and Super Restore Potions and speak of some underground place. Speak to the guard to the east and he will crush the barricades for you. Pass over them and and enter the dungeon to the east.

Inside the Dungeon

BackpackNow head to the far northwest until you find a charred area with some Black Skeletons and Coffins nearby. Search the Skeleton and a level 39 Zombie will appear; kill it and pick up the Ruined Backpack. Open it to find that it belonged to B.Vahn, and it has some Rotten Food, a Knife, and a Dragon TankardDragon tankard inside. It will then rip.

Black prismNow search the broken Lectern near the Skeleton to find a Half Torn PageHalf torn page. First,search the Ogre Coffin located directly west of the Skeleton, and then use your Knife on it. After that, use your Strength to try and lift the lid (can be failed at the expense of your strength), and you'll receive a Black Prism.

Note: While in the tomb, you'll be affected by an orange Poison Indicator. It's a disease that only reduces your stats and can be cured by Relicym's Balm (below).

Sithik Ints

Go the inn located in Yanille, use the Dragon Tankard on the Barkeeper and speak with him. He will speak of Brentle Vahn, a common customer, as well as a wizard. Head to the front of the Magic Guild and speak to Zavistic Rarve (ring the bell if he isn't there). He speaks about the dark arts.

HAM BookPortraiture bookNecromancy bookHead to Sithik Ints' room in the building north of the guild. Talk to him and search around in the room to find a HAM Book, Portraiture Book and a Necromancy Book. You should also find some Charcoal and Papyrus. Read all 3 books; the Torn Page fits in the Necromancy Book.

Good sketchUse each of the books on Sithik, and then use a piece of Papyrus on him to make a sketch. Show it to him and then bring it to the Bartender so that he gives you a Signed Portrait. Your first sketch may not be a Good Sketch, so just make another sketch of Sithik if it isn't good enough.

Strange potionBring the Signed Portrait to Zavistic, who will give you a Strange Potion to give to Sithik. He refuses to take the potion directly, so instead use it on the Cup of Tea found on the Drawers beside his bed. Head downstairs, then back upstairs to find that he has become an Ogre! Talk to him about each of the different options. He'll tell you about making Brutal Arrows, and a Poison Cure for the Orange Curse.

Preparing for Battle

Relicym's balmFirst, get to Karamja either by teleporting or by boat. Find the 2 herbs: Rogues Purse and Snake Weed (from the Jungle Potion Quest). Add the Rogues Purse to a Vial of Water first, and then add the Snake Weed to get Relicym's Balm, which cures disease. You can also make an extra potion for Uglug Nar to buy, and he will let you use his shop!

Ogre keyNow talk to Grish about each of the different options, and he will show you how to make a Composite Ogre Bow and he will give you an Ogre Gate Key. To make a bow, use a Knife on some Achey Logs while carrying Wolf Bones, and then add a Bow String.

Steel brutal arrowsTo make Brutal Arrows, cut Achey Logs into Shafts, add feathers, and then add nails of the desired metal to the Unflighted Shafts. Brutal Arrows are very effective against Zogres, and you need to speak to Sithik before being able to make them.

Now get anything you'll need for the fight, including food, armor and potions. Once you have everything, head back to the tomb, head west past the 2 big stone doors and down the stairs. Go north, then east, and search the stand and a level 111 Slash Bash will attack you.

Use your Protect From Melee Prayer if you can (be careful, he also uses a weak Ranged attack and can drain Prayer quickly). The Brutal arrows are particularly effective against him, as normal weaponry is practically ineffective against him. Use Brutal Arrows against any Zogres that you may fight in the future!

Slashbash

ArtifactKill Slash Bash and pick up the Ogre Artifact and bones. Go back to Grish to receive your reward. Quest complete!

Congratulations, Zogre Flesh Eaters Quest complete!

Runescape Quest Guide: Wolf Whistle

==>All Runescape Guide List<==

==>Runescape Quest Guide List<==

Runescape Quest Start: Begin by speaking to Pikkupstix, located southwest of the eastern Taverley gate.

Runescape Skills: None!

Quests: None!

What You Need: Two Wolf Bones.

Getting Started

First off, speak to Pikkupstix. He will tell you that he is a celebrity in Taverley and is famous. During the conversation, you will hear a loud crash coming from upstairs. Pikkupstix will blame it on a 'Fluffy Typhoon of Wickedness'.

Pikkupstix: You there! What are you doing here, as if I didn't have enough troubles?

During the speech you will tell him that you can handle any problem, so, therefore, Pikkupstix will tell you to handle his 'little' problem. Little do you know, a surprise is waiting. Go up the ladder and you will enter a cut scene and meet a Giant Wolpertinger. Eek! You scurry back downstairs.

Speak to Pikkupstix again and he says that you can fix it with a Spirit Wolf, because we all know what happens when a rabbit meets a wolf. Pikkupstix asks you to gather two wolf bones. Unless you brought your own, the nearest source of wolf bones is up the mountain to the north-west of Taverley. Level 25 and level 34 wolves prowl White Wolf Mountain and will always drop bones upon being killed. Take care, if venturing too far onto the summit of the mountain, as they may attack the unwary adventurer as a pack. Alternatively, take the path leading onto the summit and before long you will stumble across a dead body. Search this body for two wolf bones.

Note: Should you happen to lose these bones, you can kill any type of wolf to get Wolf Bones.

The location of the dead man's body

PouchSpirit shardsOnce you have the two bones, return to Pikkupstix. You will need six free inventory spaces to receive the two gold charms, two pouches, a trapdoor key and 14 spirit shards.

Now use the key on the trapdoor, go down and you will find yourself in front of an obelisk. Use your pouches on it to infuse them. Select "Spirit Wolf Pouch" from the menu that pops up. Now, you must transform the Spirit Wolf Pouch into Howl Scrolls. Use the Spirit Wolf Pouch with the obelisk, and then choose "Howl Scroll" from the menu, and there you have ten howl scrolls. Go back to Pikkupstix, and speak with him.

Summoning Pouch Creation

Time to go face the Wolpertinger! Go up the stairs and you will notice the Wolpertinger is too busy gnawing cloth to even notice you...

Musn't look around, bunny will eat me

Oops, spoke to soon.

I'll use the spirit wolf pouch.

Right-click on your pouch and select the "Summon" option to summon the Spirit Wolf. Now select the summoning tab (the icon to the left of the Friends List icon), and click on the wolf icon. Now click on the Wolpertinger to use the Spirit Wolf's special move (howl), which will scare the Wolpertinger away.

The spirit wolf and Wolpertinger.

After you successfully cast the Howl spell, both monsters will disappear - but why? Pikkupstix has the answer. Speak with him.

You will complain of being rather dizzy. Pikkupstix suggests you should go down the trapdoor and recharge your Summoning points right away. Do it. Right click the obelisk and select 'Renew points'. Go back upstairs and speak to Pikkupstix in order to claim your reward.

Congratulations, Wolf Whistle Quest complete!

Runescape Quest Guide: Witch's House

==>All Runescape Guide List<==

==>Runescape Quest Guide List<==

Runescape Quest Start: Begin by speaking to the little Boy at the northeast entrance of Taverley.

Runescape Skills: The ability to defeat a level 53 monster.

Quests: None!

What You Need: Some Gloves and some Cheese.

Getting Started

First off, find the little Boy located just west of the entrance to Taverley near the hedge. Speak to him and he'll tell you that he accidentally kicked his ball into the witches yard and she has locked it in her shed. Tell him that you'll get it back for him.

Boy

The Witch's House

DoorkeyNorth of the Boy is a house. Try the door, which is locked. Look under the Flower Pot to the left of the door to find a Door Key. Use this to unlock the door and go inside. Head up the stairs and in the bedroom is a Diary on the table. Take it and read the entire thing, or you will not be able to finish the quest.

The Diary explains that Nora T. Hagg has been creating a monster that lives in her shed. It also explains the locking mechanism of the garden door. Go downstairs and into the room at the north end of the house. Climb down the ladder, and while wearing some Gloves (except Mime gloves), open the Gate. Search the Cabinet on the wall opposite the gate to find a Magnet.

Warning: Since the Witch's gate is electrified, touching it with your bare hands or with a pair of gauntlets will result in a shock which causes damage!

Getting the Ball

Go back up the ladder and into the room in the southwest corner. Drop a piece of Cheese (which can be bought in any local Grocery Store) and a Mouse should appear. Use the Magnet with the Mouse, which will retreat into the wall and unlock the door.

Now go into the garden, but don't let the witch see you-- if she sees you, you'll be teleported out and you'll have to start all over again. The witch will be unable to see you from behind the hedges. Make your way around the garden to the fountain, which you can search to find a key to the shed. Go up to the shed, avoiding the witch.

Unlock the shed and go inside. Try to take the Ball, which is on top of the Crates, and you'll be attacked by a level 19 Witch's Creation. When you defeat that form, it will appear as a level 30 Spider, a level 42 Bear, and a level 53 Wolf. After defeating the creation, grab the Ball and leave the garden-- still not being seen by the witch. If you are teleported out now, You will lose the Shed Key and Ball and you'll need to start all over again.

Ball

Now just go back to the Boy, give him his ball, and congratulations: you've completed the quest!

Runescape Quest Guide: What Lies Below

==>All Runescape Guide List<==

==>Runescape Quest Guide List<==

Runescape Quest Start: Begin by talking to Rat Burgiss at the crossroads just northwests of the Al Kharid mine, south of Varrock

Runescape Skills: 35 Runecrafting and the ability to defeat a level 47 enemy.

Quests: Rune Mysteries

What You Need: 15 chaos runes or 15 pure essence and an empty bowl

Recommended Items: Varrock teleport runes, a charged amulet of glory, and a chaos tiara or chaos talisman,

Quest Obtained Items: Bronze pickaxe

Getting Started

To start, travel to the crossroads south of Varrock, also just north of the Al Kharid mine, and talk with Rat Burgiss.

The location of rat burgriss

Empty folderYou find out that Rat is a traveling trader who was recently robbed by some outlaws who stole some important papers from him. Ask to help get his papers back and he will tell that he heard them talking about their small camp somewhere north west of Varrock. He gives you an empty folder and tells you to retrieve five papers for him.

Getting to the Bandit Camp

Now teleport to Varrock and walk west to Edgeville, or just use your amulet of glory and teleport directly there. Once there, head east until you get to a bridge on the eastern part of the town. Cross over it and walk east and a little bit south. You should see the camp. It is just northwest of the house where the Temple of Ikov quest may be completed at. If you run into a fence, you are too far east.

The bandit camp

Full folderThe camp consists of 5 tents, and around ten bandits level 32 with 20 hitpoints. They each drop a paper piece every time they die so collecting Rat's missing papers shouldn't take too long at all. Just kill five outlaws for the five papers. Use each paper with the folder until it is full, then travel back to Rat.

LetterAfter talking with Rat, he takes the full folder and then asks for help with another job. Agree to help with this also and Rat gives you a letter to take to Surok Magis who is in the Varrock Palace's library (the largest room in the north part of the palace's first floor).

Letter from Rat to Surok

WandJournalTalk to Surok who after reading the letter, destroys it. He then asks if you want to hear a secret. He talks about how he has discovered an ancient magic spell that can transform ordinary clay into solid gold! He then asks for a few items to create the gold with, in return for some gold for you to keep. He says that he needs an empty bowl and a wand with which to create the gold with. He also speaks of a shortcut to the chaos altar that avoids going through the wilderness. He then gives you a wand for you to infuse with chaos runes, and a journal that he found. Read the journal and it tells of a Zamorak monk whose group has created a tunnel to the chaos altar under a statue of Saradomin just east of Varrock.

Going Into the Statue

Go to the bank if you don't already have 15 chaos runes, the wand Surok gave to you, and a chaos tiara or a chaos talisman. If you want to check out the new way to get to the chaos altar, go out the east entrance of Varrock, and take the path north until you can see a big statue.

Location of the statue

The two other ways are either traveling to Edgeville, then going north and entering the altar in level 5-7 wild, or by entering the Abyss. The Abyss is considered to be faster, but any way will do fine. Talk with Anna Jones who is sitting next to the statue and she will give you a bronze pickaxe. Excavate the statue to mine a hole through it and discover the tunnel.

The entrance into the tunnel from the statue

Follow the main path north, or stop to talk with the three different members of the Dagon'hai to learn a bit more about their group. Enter the portal in the most northern room to be teleported to the third level of the chaos temple.

Making the Infused Wand

Climb down the ladder that is northwest of where you appear. It is close enough for you to see, but the path will take a while because it wanders around.

The path inside of the tunnel

Infused wandIf you brought the pure essence instead of the chaos runes, now craft them into the runes. Now, you just have to use your wand with the altar to create an infused wand . Then use the portal that is just south east of the altar to come out in level 10 wild right above Edgeville, or just teleport back to Varrock.

The Plot Thickens

Go back and talk to Surok with the infused wand and the empty bowl in your inventory. He says his spell will take some time to prepare and asks you to take a letter back to Rat. When Rat receives the letter, he tells you it is bad news and that he is going to let you in on a little secret. He isn't a trader, he is actually a Commander of the Varrock Palace Secret Guard, or VPSG for short. You then learn he has gotten word that Surok discovered a mind-control spell and intends to use it on King Roald for Surok to control. Surok was under guard and couldn't get the items he needed to make the spell, but by tricking you to gather all of them, he is now able to cast the spell. Then you learn one of his contacts might be able to counter the mind-control spell and you need to visit him. The contact turns out to be Zaff, the staff shop keeper in the west part of Varrock Square.

Making a Plan

Go talk with Zaff who tells you his spell will only work if the king is very weak.

Zaff

Beacon ringInstructionsHis plan is for you to fight the king until almost death, use a beacon ring he gives you to teleport him into the castle, and cast his spell upon the king. He also gives you some instructions which say the same thing in case you forget and don't want to go all the way back to Zaff.

Confronting Surok Magis

This is the part where you fight the king, so if your level is around 50 or less, you might want to think about bringing some food. He really isn't all that hard, so you don't need much at all. Travel back to the library to arrest Surok, but make sure you are wearing the beacon ring before talking to him. He naturally refuses your arrest and makes this the hard way. After a short cutscene, the king enters the room and your character remarks he looks a bit evil. The king will attack you shortly after the cutscene, so just fight him until his health bar is totally red. He won't die even though it looks like all of his health is gone.

Surok magis

Select the option "operate" on the ring by right-clicking it while wearing it. Zaff teleports into the room, shoots a counter spell at the king, effectively curing him and then teleports him out. You and Zaff then turn to face Surok, which cowardly tries to teleport away. He fails to do so, and at that point Zaff says he placed a magic barrier around the room, blocking Surok inside. He tells you they will watch Surok much more carefully in the future and they will keep him there. Now, all you have to do is simply go back and talk to Rat to complete the quest.

Congratulations, quest complete!

Runescape Quest Start: Talk to Almera, just south of the Barbarian Outpost

Runescape Skills: You should be able to defend yourself against level 86 Fire Giants.

Quests: None!

What You Need: 6 Air, Water and Earth Runes and a Rope.

Getting Started

AlmeraFirst off, speak with Almera, found northwest of the Fishing Guild and just south of the Barbarian Outpost. When she asks if you'll help her, ask her what you can do and she'll tell you that her son Hudon is looking for treasure in the river behind her house. Tell her that you'll check on him, and then board the raft in the back.

Board the log raft

The raft will crash into a rock and it seems that you're stranded, but you'll find Hudon on the bank of the river and he refuses to leave. Walk south along the small island, and then use your rope with the large rock across the river so that you can cross it.

Hudon

Note: If you forgot your rope, just click on the large rock to jump into the river and wash up further down the river.

Use your rope with the rock to cross the river

Once across, use the rope with the tree to climb down onto a ledge, and then get inside the barrel so that you can be carried down the river without taking damage.

The Elf King & Glarial

Baxtor book You should now be on the shore, so go inside the house to the northwest and talk to Hadley about the Elf King, Glarial and the treasure. Now go upstairs and search the bookcase in the center of the east wall for a Book on Baxtorian and read it to learn about what happened to Glarial.

Search the bookcase

Pebble Head to the Tree Gnome Village just southwest of East Ardougne, following the maze until you reach a ladder which leads to a small cavern. Head to the east room and search the large crates near the entrance to find A Key. Use this to open the gate in the west room and then talk to Golrie. You'll also find Glarial's Pebble on the floor, which Golrie will let you keep.

Glariel's ammyGlarial's urnNow put any weapons and armor in the bank and head to the Tombstone of Glarial just northeast of Hadley's house. Use the pebble with it to find a cave and search the chest to the west for Glarial's Amulet. Take Glarial's Urn from the grave to the south of the ladder, leave the tomb and head back to the bank, taking any weapons, armor and food that you'll need. You may also want to bring a Prayer Restore Potion since there are Shadow Spiders that drain your Prayer.

Glarial's tomb

The Waterfall

Key Now head back to Almera's house and take the raft down the river. Just as before, use your rope with the rock to get across, and then use it with the tree to climb onto the ledge. Now equip Glarial's Amulet and open the ledge to go inside of the Waterfall Dungeon.

The entrance to the waterfall

Once inside, you'll find 3 different paths; head to the east, past the level 52 Shadow Spiders and into the room where you will also find several level 16 Skeleton Mages and level 45 Skeletons. Search the crate in the north part of the room for A Key.

Now head to the room to the west, past the level 86 Fire Giants and use the key with the door to the north to unlock it. Use it with the next door to find a room with 6 Pillars. Use 1 Air, Water and Earth Rune with each of the pillars, and now you'll be able to reach the Chalice of Eternity. Use Glarial's Amulet on the Statue of Glarial, and then just use the Urn with the Chalice to complete the quest.

Note: Don't try to take the Chalice, or you'll be swept away! If this happens to you, you'll need to get another amulet and start the quest all over again!

Congratulations, Waterfall Quest complete!
