To craft articles of pottery, follow the method below:
- Obtain clay ore (either through Mining or by purchasing it from another player).
- Get a jug or bucket and fill it with water (look out for the following symbol

on your mini-map). - Take the clay ore and use it with the jug/bucket of water to get soft clay.
- Go to a potter's wheel (Look out for this symbol
![[image]](http://www.runescape.com/img/kbase/key_icons/potters_wheel.gif)
on your map) and use the soft clay with it. - Choose what you wish to make.
- Take the unfired item to a pottery oven (found near the potter's wheel) and use them together in order to make the finished product.
