While there are certain creatures you will be sent to slay that can be defeated pretty easily, there are those you will encounter that require a special kind of item to slay. Your master will be able to provide you with whatever equipment may be necessary. You should always ensure that you have such equipment with you before embarking on any slaying mission.

Bag Of Salt	Level 1 Slayer	Finishing off rock slugs
Ice Cooler	Level 1 Slayer	Finishes off desert lizards
Rock hammer	Level 1 Slayer	Killing weakened gargoyles
Fishing Explosive	Level 32 Slayer	Lures mogres
Bug Lantern	Level 33 Slayer	Fends off harpy bug swarms so you can attack
Slayer Bell	Level 39 Slayer	Allows molanisks to be attacked
Crystal chime	Level 56 Slayer	Allows warped terrorbirds and warped tortoises to be hurt
Fungicide Spray	Level 57 Slayer	Used to finish off mutated zygomites

Witchwood Icon	Level 35 Slayer	Protection against cave horrors
Insulated Boots	Level 37 Slayer	Protection against shocks from killerwatts
Slayer Gloves	Level 42 Slayer	Protection against fever spiders
Nosepeg	Level 60 Slayer	Protection against aberrant specters
