Location: In Hemenster, southwest of Seers' Village.

The Guild

The Ranging Guild can be found just southwest of the Seer's Village, and north of Ardougne. It's also just northeast of the Fishing Guild, and you'll find that the entrance to the guild is guarded by a Ranging Guild Doorman, and that the walls are surrounded by Spear Walls. As you go inside, you'll notice that the guild is open to the fresh air, and that there are several places to visit while here.

Places to Train

The Ranging Guild is famous for it's Archery Competition, held at the far southeast of the Guild entrance. You can buy 10 Bronze Arrows from the Competition Judge for 200gp, equip them, and then 'Fire-At' the Targets beyond the hay bails. Depending on where you hit the target at, you'll get both archery points and Ranging experience.

For every 10 points you score during the competition, you'll receive 1 Archery Ticket from the Competition Judge after you've used up all 10 arrows and spoken to him again. So, just divide your total points by 10 to see how many tickets you'll get.

In the building to the northwest of the Archery Competition can be found the Ticket Merchant. He'll trade the tickets that you win from the Archery Competition for several different kinds of Ranging equipment. For more information, check out the Archery Competition guide.

Another interesting training area in the guild is the Archery Tower, located in the center of the guild. After climbing up the ladder, you'll find that the platform is surrounded by 4 towers, each with several Tower Archers of varying Combat level. Speak to one of the Tower Advisors to get their opinion on the best tower to train on, and they'll also tell you that you need a longbow to hit the Archers.

The tower is a multi-combat area, so you'll be attacked by all of the Archers on the tower that you fire at. There are level 19 Tower Archers on the north tower, level 34 Archers on the east tower, level 49 Archers on the south tower, and level 64 Archers on the west tower.

Guild Shops

An Armor Salesman can be found in the building just southeast of the entrance to the Guild, and he sells various leather armor.
