Runescape party hats are very expensive and rare. There is only so many out there. As each day goes on, more and more are lost. There is only two ways of getting a party hat. One way is to buy one from another player. The other, which is very unlikely, is to pick it up after someone has died wearing it or died with it in his or her inventory. (although without a skull above their head it is even more unlikely.

There are six different types of party hats, which are:

- Red Party Hat

- Yellow Party Hat

- White Party Hat

- Blue Party Hat

- Green Party Hat

- Purple Party Hat

The red party hat is worth around 230,000,000gp.

The yellow party hat is worth around 175,750,000gp

How to get a party hat in Runescape 2

The white party hat, which seems like one of the rarest, is worth around 280,000,00gp.

How to get a party hat in Runescape 3

The blue party hat, which is in fact very rare, is worth around 400,000,000 gp.

How to get a party hat in Runescape 4

The green party hat is worth around 195,000,000gp and the purple party hat is worth around 160,000,000gp.

Of course, these prices change almost every week, it is impossible to get a definite exact number on anything. Party hats were first dropped in December 2001. They were the very first tradable holiday item. Not many people got them, as they were not expecting it. However, after they realized what Runescape had planned, they expected it. After awhile Runescape decided to make the items untradable and you could only get one. Then they decided to use NPC's to send them out. NPC means non-player character, in other words it's a computer.

Runescape party hats are all the rave. When you see one you think, dang I wish I were him! In addition, with a blue party hat, could you really resist wanting it? So what's the point in a party hat? There really isn't a point whatsoever. They don't boost your stats, they don't teleport you to some super awesome party land, and they don't heal you. They really are useless. So why are they so expensive? Well, they are over 7 years old! Any item that can survive 7 years of circulation deserves this high price.

These party hats, along with any other item like it, are rapidly increasing in value. Every time one is knocked out of circulation the price jumps higher. Soon there will be a trillion dollar party hat out there, and it will be the only one left. So, if you want to invest your 400,000,000gp into something worthwhile, go buy a blue party hat, store it in your bank, and wait. Wait for the year to come when the blue party hats are in the billions. (They will be there eventually.)

Now, that you know all of this wonderful information to help you get a party hat in Runescape, do you still want one, even though it's useless? Well I do. I want the whole collection and a Santa hat! If I had the whole collection I would go somewhere popular and keep switching them out like a flashy rainbow. Red to blue, blue to purple, purple to yellow, yellow to green, back to red! Ha-ha, it would indeed be a fun day. Especially with all the people out there that would say, "Hey can I have some money?" or "Hey dude can I have a party hat??". I would just keep switching them until I had attracted enough attention, then I would walk off and no doubt, they would follow me. Then it would be a party hat train. All aboard!

Runescape Armour

Treasure Trail Armors

Hove you ever wondered how to get a piece of fancy-looking armor with trimming on it, or how much these armors may cost? These treasures are said to be rare, since there's only a possibility of obtaining a piece after completing a Members-Only Treasure Trail.

Some Basic Info

All of the special armors, known as "Trimmed Armor" are rewards from a finished RuneScape Treasure Trail. Different enemies sometimes drop Clue Scrolls, which when read will point you to another location or character in the game. Depending on the difficulty of the enemy you receive the clue from, the Treasure Trail may be more difficult, but the reward will be greater.

Remember, monsters will not always drop clues, so it may take quite a long time to find one. But, it's always a great surprise to find a Clue Scroll after defeating lots of enemies, and then to find a great reward can be even better!

All About the Armors

Now that you know that Trimmed Armors are the rare rewards from Treasure Trails, you probably want to know a little more about them. There are 3 different types of Trimmed Armor, each one made out of one type of metal, with a special trimming around it:

(T) - This means that the armor is trimmed or Tinted in a lighter shade of metal than the main armor.
(G) - This is also known as gold or Gilded armor, meaning that the main piece of armor is trimmed in gold.
(Gu), (S), (Z) - These are the different god or Divine armors, including Guthix, Saradomin, and Zamorak.

Only 3 different types of armor are trimmed, which are Black, Adamantite, and Rune. Each of these metals can have either regular Trimming, or Gold Trimming, but only Rune can be a Divine type of armor. There also is no difference in the armor stats compared to the regular un-trimmed armors, and they give no added bonuses.

Treasure Trail armors can be worn by both Members and Free-Players, but it can only be found by Members that have completed a Treasure Trail. This means that the only way a Free-Player can obtain them would be to trade with a Member on a Free-Play server.

Trimmed Armor

The most basic and inexpensive kind of Treasure Trail armor is Tinted or Trimmed armor. The armor itself has been trimmed in a lighter shade of metal, such as Adamantite with a lighter green trimming. Goblins, Guars and Ice Warriors will drop clues that sometimes lead you to regular Trimmed armor, but there are many others.

Trimmed Adamantite	220,000-300,000gp	This armor is made from a rather strong Adamantite metal, and trimmed with light green.

Trimmed Rune	1,000,000-1,300,000gp	The second strongest metal known to RuneScape (the strongest being Dragon), trimmed with a light blue color.

Gilded Armor

Armor with a gold trimming around the original metal is called Gilded armor, also known as Gold. It's more expensive than Trimmed armor, and more rare to find too, but it has a distinctive coloring that some may consider to be well-worth the extra work to obtain it.

These armors are only made from Rune metal, and depending on the God that the armor symbolizes, it will have a symbol and color specific to that god. Dragons, as well as other high-level monsters drop clues that lead to these armors.

A: No, armor can't be trimmed. The only way to get a piece is to complete a Treasure Trail.

A: No, Members can't trim armor and will most likely never have that ability.

Runescape is a simple and free game played by millions of people and one of the most enjoyable parts of it is collecting all the Runescape items that are available. There are literally thousands upon thousands of items to collect in Runescape. Some are obviously more valuable, rare and prized than others. There are even items that no longer are able to be created which has created a whole industry of specific Runescape item trading in itself. This is the Runescape rare item market consisting of things like party hats, santa hats, holloween masks plus a few other items that are so sort after that it costs millions of Runescape gold to just buy one of these items.

Runescape Rare Items – Holiday Drops

These Runescape rare items, often referred to as holiday drops, were a feature of Runescape back when the game was in its first couple of years.
