Abby Whip - Abyssal Whip; a whip dropped by an Abyssal Demon.

B Axe - battle axe.

Blk - Black armor and weapons. They are unsmithable and can only be traded or bought from shops.

Cert - a certificate; exchangeable for certain items; 1 cert=5 of that item. RSC only!

Row - Ring of Wealth

Runestone - Rune for short; a stone imbued with magical power from the land.

Santa - a Santa Hat; Sal’s favorite RuneScape item

Skele - skeleton

Sap - super attack potion

Scimmy - Scimitar

Sdp - super defense potion

Ssp - super strength potion

Super Set - set of super potions to increase your melee combat skills (Attack, Defense, and Strength.

Swordy - swordfish; a type of fish.

Bf - Boyfriend

Choob - funny way of saying “Noob.”

Every1 - everyone

Froob - funny way of saying “Noob.”

Gf - Girlfriend

Hybrid - a pure combining 2 or more combat styles but still having low Defense and Prayer.

J00 - you

Mage - Wizard; also short for Magic.

Melee Pure - traditionally, a person that only trains attack, defense and strength to make their combat level lower than if they had trained Magic and Ranged as well.

Ne1 - anyone

Nebody - anybody

Newbie - a new player

Noob - a stupid player

NPC - a non-player character

NPKer - a Non Player-Killer; doesn’t hurt anyone (i.e. a shopkeeper).

PKer - a Player-Killer; these people try to kill others in the game.

Ppl - people

Scammer - someone who scams another person deliberately.

Skill Pure - someone who only trains a certain skill, such as fishing.

Staker - a pure made for staking in the Duel Arena

Tank - a person with very high defence for his combat lvl

U - you

Guth - Guthix, god of Nature and Balance.

Sara - Saradomin, god of Wisdom and Order.

Zammy - Zamorak, god of Chaos.

Places

Ardy - Ardougne; a city with Market Stalls which you can steal from.

Ba - Barbarian Assault minigame.

Cw - Castle Wars minigame.

Edgy - Edgeville; a small town bordering the Wilderness. Known for it’s dungeon where players of all levels can train combat.

Fally - Falador; a bustling city home to the mining guild.

Lumby - Lumbridge; the first town that you start off in.

Guild - a place for higher-level players to work on their skills, or buy items.

Pc - Pest Control minigame.

Pp - Pyramid Plunder minigame.

P.S. - short for Port Sarim

Rimmy - Rimmington; a small town south of Falador and east of Port Sarim, with a range for cooking, a General Store and a Crafting Shop.

RSC - RuneScape Classic; the original version of the game first created in 2000.

RS - RuneScape

RS2 - RuneScape 2; the second version of the game with advanced graphics; opened to Members in December 2003, and opened to Free-Players in March 2004.

Shantay - Shantay Pass

Wild - the Wilderness; a place for players to attack each other, and explore.

Wildy - another name for the Wilderness.

Bank Sale - When a player sells lots of various items for low prices, often giving the buyer a deal.

Dd - Death dot

Drop Mining - Mining as much ore as you possibly can without banking it to get “fast XP.”

Drop Party - a gathering of RuneScapers that drop items such as Runes, food, armor, or other things that can be used by other players.

Duel - a fight between 2 people.

F2P - Free to Play

Fm - Firemaking

FP - Freeplay

FTP - Free to Play

P2P - Pay to Play; Members

Pk - Player Kill; when people go into the Wilderness to kill each other.

Power Mining - see: Drop Mining.

QP - Quest point

Quest - a task that you can do for certain NPC’s in the game for various rewards.

RC - Runecrafting; a skill allowing players to make their own Runes.

Scam - when someone is cheated out of money or other stuff by another player.

Wc - Woodcutting; a skill allowing you to chop trees to get wood.
