Runescape Dungeon Guides: Elemental Workshop Dungeon

Article From runescape.salmoneus.net,Written By Neo Avatars

The Elemental Workshop Dungeon is usually only used during the Elemental Workshop I and II quests, but it is also a good place for Herbologists to collect Herbs and Vials.

Getting There

The Elemental Workshop Dungeon is located underneath Seers' Village.

Map of the Workshop entrance

The building next to the bank (in yellow) on the map is where you can find the entrance to the workshop. At the northern end of the building, you'll find a cracked wall, and to enter you must use a Battered Key with the Odd looking Wall. You can also use a Steel Key Ring with the Wall as long as the Battered Key is on the ring.

Hint: If you don't have a Battered Key, you can search the bookcase in the building to the south (in magenta) for a book. Use a knife with it to get the Battered Key.

Use battered key with odd looking wall

Once through the Wall you must climb down the stairs.

Down the stairs you will appear in the center room of the Dungeon. There isn't really much to do here because everything is in one of the other four rooms.

West Room

In the West room there are Elemental Rocks and Earth Elementals. Elemental Ore is used to make an Elemental Shield.

North Room

The North room has the Water Wheel in it. It is also home to the Water Elementals which always drop a Water filled Vial when they die.

East Room

In the East room are the Bellows. These are fixed during the quest and you can pump then for fun when ever you like just like you can spin the Water Wheel at free will. There are also Air Elementals in this room.

South Room

The South room is the home of the Fire Elementals. There is also the furnace that you smelt your Elemental Bar in this room.

Leaving

To leave just climb up the ladder you used to enter and go through the Wall. No Key is required to leave, just to enter.

Runescape Dungeon Guides: Dwarven Tunnel

Article From runescape.salmoneus.net,Written By Magic Star94

Special Thanks to Flummoxer, Simple013

The Dwarven Tunnel is just a little shortcut from Catherby to Taverley, or vice versa. You must have completed the Fishing Contest quest (very easy) to use it. Using this tunnel saves time, because you don't have to go on the long and confusing White Wolf Mountain.

Getting There

One entrance is just north of Catherby, and the other entrance is south-west of the Heroes' Guild.

2 Entrances to the tunnel: north of Catherby (left) and north of Taverly (right).

When you are at either of the two entrances, climb down the stairs and then you will end up in a tunnel.

Inside the Dungeon

There is a bar in the east part of the tunnel, and lots of dwarves. Khorvak, a dwarven engineer invites you to have a dwarven stout.

There are a total of 3 respawns on the tables in the bar. A dwarven stout adds +1 to your mining and smithing level.

Just to the east of the bar, we have mine cart rides! Speak to the Cart Conductor, and you can buy a ticket to Keldagrim for 100gp, or 75gp if you are wearing a Ring Of Charos (a). This cart is used in the Giant Dwarf, and you can only ride it after you start that quest. You can also see the mine cart in the dwarven mines.

Runescape Dungeon Guides: Damis' Lair

Article From runescape.salmoneus.net,Written By Neo Avatars

Special Thanks to Pilot, Lilshu

Damis' Lair is normally only visited during the Desert Treasure Quest to kill Damis, but when you explore this Dungeon you will find that it is a good place to use up some spare Prayer Potions and get some reasonable xp.

Getting There

The Entrance to this Dungeon is just west of the Fishing Guild in a Picnic Area. To see the ladder that you climb down to enter you must be wearing a Ring of Visibility (obtained during the Desert Treasure).

The entrance to Damis' lair

What to Bring

If you are just going into the Dungeon for fun, not for Desert Treasure then there are some things that you should bring.

Equipment:

Equipment

  • Full Initiate Armour - Prayer Bonus
  • Ring of Visibility - Without this you can't get into the Dungeon
  • Poisoned Dagger - Poison the monsters so they die a painful death
  • Boots of Lightness - Lowers weight carried
  • God Book - Prayer Bonus

Inventory:

Backpack

  • Runes - To teleport out
  • Prayer Potions - The only way you are going to survive for very long
  • Food - Incase you make a mistake and run out of Prayer

Inside the Dungeon

This Dungeon is packed with level 80 Giant Skeletons and is also home to level 63 Shadow Hounds. When you enter the Dungeon you will appear in the South-West corner and there will be Giant Skeletons scattered around quite a distance apart. The whole of this half of the Dungeon is Single-Combat so you can only get attacked by one Skeleton at a time.

The scenery is the same for the whole of this half of the Dungeon, but when you enter the other half of the dungeon you may feel that you are in another dimension getting hit by monsters constantly.

A skeleton

It is packed to the brim with Giant Skeletons and Shadow Hounds. There are also some level 3 Giant Rats in the South-East corner of the Dungeon for those who have already bitten off all of their finger nails. Only a small proportion of this half is Single-Combat so Protect from Melee is recommended.

Damis' Room

The room that you fight Damis in is a Multi-Combat Zone. It is packed with Giant Skeletons and Shadow Hounds with more in the North than the South. If you run around in the North half of the room for about 10 seconds then you will have quite a lot of monsters attacking you at once.

Attack Giant Skeletons

If you stay in the room for about 15 minutes then the monsters will stop attacking you, but if you go to the very South of the room or leave the room you will get attacked on first sight. It is recommended in this room to have Protect from Melee Prayer on at all times.

Leaving

There are two ways to leave. The first and recommended way is to teleport out. The second way is to climb the tall ladder that you climbed down to enter.

Climb the ladder to leave

Inhabitants

There are several different kinds of monsters in this Dungeon, but where ever you are within these depths you won't be far from a Giant Skeleton.

  • Giant Rat - Giant Rats are level 3 and can only be found in the far South-East corner of the Dungeon.

    Giants Rat
  • Bat - Bats are level 6 and can be found in the room to the far East of the Dungeon that Damis will appear during the Desert Treasure Quest.

    Bat
  • Shadow Hound - Shadow Hounds are level 63 and are densely packed on the East half of the Dungeon. The majority of the area that these can be found is a Multi-Combat zone.

    Shadow Hound
  • Giant Skeleton - Giant Skeletons are level 80 and can be found all over the Dungeon. They are more densely packed on the East half of the Dungeon, but in the West half of the Dungeon there are quite a few places that you can stand without getting attacked.

    Giant Skeleton
  • Damis - Damis is fought during the Desert Treasure Quest to obtain the Shadow Diamond. He comes in two forms, the second a lot more deadly than the first. The first form is level 103 and the second form is level 174. Both forms drain your Prayer, but the second one will drain it at about 7 or 8 points a second.

Runescape Dungeon Guides: Brimstail's Dungeon

Article From runescape.salmoneus.net,Written By Ph201

Original Guide By Kasun3

Special Thanks to Bboyjyoung, Terminator, Neo Avatars, Damaged500

Brimstail was mainly used to go to the Rune Essence mine, one of the many mages who had the ability to. Now he is most famous for starting and taking you through the quest,Eyes of Glouphrie.

Getting There

You can find Brimstail's Dungeon in the Tree Gnome Stronghold. The Stronghold is located west of Seer's Village and northwest of West Ardougne and East Ardougne.

Click For a Full-Sized Map

The entrance to Brimstail's Dungeon is boxed twice in red on the map above with the dungeon symbol, (!). You should find a nice little door and some flax plants if your camera is facing east:

Brimstail

Choc saturdayWhen you enter Brimstail's Cave, you'll notice the "Premade choc s'dy", or Choc Saturday respawn on Brimstail's shelf. Don't take his bowl or he'll get mad! Brimstail is known for being the only gnome in the Runescape with the ability to teleport you to the Runecrafting Essence Mines. You must have completed the quest Rune Mysteries to have him teleport you there by right clicking him and selecting "Teleport".

Teleporting to the essence mine

Brimstail now has an even bigger role to play. He's the main character used in the quest, Eyes of Glouphrie, which you can start by talking to him with 5+ Construction and 46+ Magic.

As you move into the larger of the two rooms, you'll see Oaknook's Machine. Next to it is the Aspidstra Plant that goes "Gronda Gronda" when searched. Is it a plant? Or is it a sentient creature in disguise?

Oaknock's Machine

In the middle of the room you'll find the Crystal Singing Bowl:

After the completion of the Eyes of Glouphrie Quest, you will see a crystal bridge leading to the crystal bowl. If your Crystal saw becomes uncharged, you can recharge it there by using Sing-glass on the crystal bowl. The saw will revert to a seed after building 28 items with it.

Finally, in the southwest part of the room, you'll find a broken statue of Glouphrie the Untrusted.

Brimstail

He's the only NPC down here in the dungeon, and will teleport you to the Rune Essence Mine if you ask him to. He also plays a role in the Eyes of Glouphrie Quest.
