Seaweed

Seaweed can be obtained by either fishing (using a big fishing net), as a drop from rock crabs, picking it up in its respawning spots, or buying it from Charter Ships in the Catherby area.

Respawn Areas

On Entrana, you can pick some of the seaweed up and use telekinetic grab to get the others.

Entrana Seaweed

Note: One great benifit of the Entrana spawns is that they are near the Law Altar. If you have 54 Runecrafting, it is easy to craft or Run Laws while you gather seaweed at the spawn. As the altar is on the route, it takes only a few brief seconds to craft the runes. You can use pouches if you have them. Simply wear your Law tiara, bring the pouches and/or essence with you. Then craft the runes and walk over to the spawn.

Shilo Village, there are four seaweed that respawn here.

Shilo Seaweed

Northeast of Rellekka, this is the best way by far as it is close to a bank and it has nine seaweeds respawning.

Rellekka Seaweed

There are three main ways go get and bank seaweed here. The first is to make many lyres and have them enchanted. This will take one raw shark per lyre or one raw bass each while wearing your Ring Of Charos (a). After you have enchanted them all, use the lyre teleport to get close to the seaweed, pick the seaweed up then glory amulet or dual ring teleport back to a bank and repeat. The second way is to have started the Giant Dwarf quest. Bank your seaweed in the Keldagrim bank. The fastest way is to use Fairy Rings. Above the Keldagrim entrance, is a fairy ring (DKS), which you can use to go to the Zanaris bank.

Charter Ships

The Charter Ships located in the Catherby area will usually have 10 or more seaweed in stock for you to buy. They also stock Soda Ash, which is the form of seaweed you’ll need in glassmaking.

After you have all your seaweed go cook them all into Soda Ash on a range, fires will not work.

Gems

Gems can be mined from any type of ore rock. Wearing a glory amulet (4) will increase your chances of getting gems. You can also mine gems in Shilo Village if you have 55 mining and have completed the Shilo Village quest. Of the gems you mine in Shilo Village you can use the sapphires - diamonds to make into jewelry. When you mine Opal, Jade and Red Topaz cut them. Then either sell the gems to the General store for a few gp or note them and go to Gabooty in the Tai Bwo Wannai Village and sell them for trading sticks. You can use the trading sticks to buy village clothing or to get into the Mahogany and Teak tree area.

Another good place to obtain gems is the Rogue’s Den as well as through many random events

Stained with blood

==>All Runescape Guide List<==

==>Runescape Story List<==

Stained with blood, the ground quickly came up to meet him. The roar above him shook the ground, the claws beside him frighteningly sharp. As they raised above him, they took a considerable amount of earth with them. He rolled just in time, as massive jaws slammed into the earth right where he had been laying. Fire screamed out of the giant beast’s mouth.

A King Black Dragon, the most feared creature in the lands of Runescape, was the opponent. The knight raised his dragon battle axe, and dealt the creature a crushing blow. It cringed, but only for a second. With a sudden fierceness, it leapt at him, a wreath of flame launching from it’s mouth. He dodged as best he could, but the flame was quicker than he had thought. The Runite armor, though very protective, could not keep him from suffering damage. He felt life draining from his body. “I can’t give up!” the warrior thought.

He again stood to face the dragon, with blood dripping from his now damaged right arm. He took up his axe in his left, and with his very last effort, leaped at the beast with all the anger and hatred he could muster up for this foul creature. He took aim, and swung as hard as he could. Catching the beast in the chest, his axe pierced the dragon to the heart, and he collapsed with the taste of victory on his lips. He looked up to see what it was this foul beast had been hoarding. The prized dragon medium helmet! He had finally gotten what all of his hard work had led up to.

He picked up his newfound prize, and very gingerly put it on, proud of his efforts. However, in his carelessness of being so happy, he had forgotten that there was more than one dragon around. Without warning, another came at him, seemingly out of nowhere. He fought bravely for a few thrusts and parries, then ran for his life. Closing in on the switch to freedom, the dragon suddenly stopped.

He looked back to see some other brave soul trying to win such a prize as he already had. After watching for a bit, he realized that this young fighter was almost dead. “Run!” he yelled, seeing that the dragon was also almost dead. He quickly drank a nice stew to replenish his lost health, and engaged in a duel with the monstrous beast. This time however, the young newcomer had taken off most of the carrion’s life, and his job was much easier. He finished the dragon off, and the young man ran for his prize, exclaiming with joy that he, also, had gotten the ultimate prize for the defeat of such a creature.

The two heroes looked to each other, ate a couple stews, and left the vile cave side by side, knowing that someday they would return to slay more of these evil beasts.

Runescape Quest Guide: User Friendly Quests In Runescape

==>Runescape Story List<==

Runescape quests are one of the more diligent activities that players can participate in, other than the normal course of the game and exploring. Some would have apprehensions taking on these quests, not having the patience to take a while and think of what the actual objectives and items that are being asked, or what task to complete for the entire ordeal.

Runescape quests once interacted with the assigned NPC’s have a very detailed question and answer interface. It covers all the necessary and possible areas for consideration, making the whole interactive thing user-friendly and informative for the benefit of players who may be having trouble understanding the entire scenario. For example, a specific item that is being asked will have underlying question that would be generated as each screen of the conversation is being done. This covers all the necessary things in mind that a player may not understand. This also includes out of topic questions, a sort of humor in a way where a player who asks nonsense questions that may not even pertain to the entire quest.

User-friendliness, especially for first time players is something important. For one, not all people would easily understand how the transition of interacting and understanding the task at hand should be carried out must be done. Another thing is the fact that the quests broaden the possible questions to be asked. This eliminates the need for game administrators to have to interfere and answer queries since the NPC’s are programmed for a generalized background on the matter already.

The general expectations of game administrators with regards to the possible questions to be asked by Runescape players are a conservative approach. While some Runescape players may find it a waste of time, getting detailed information and leaving room for actually finding the items and completing the quests is all that was left uncovered. Such a method is a more alluring way of providing everything that is needed in one sitting, hence one players participate in the quests, all that is left is to properly locate the place where most of the items and special characters in the game can be found.

Again, these quests and mini-games that Runescape offers not only aim to provide more things to do, but to lessen the number of cheaters that have been known to be present in the game. Being kept busy by such activities will render a player preoccupied with such activities, thus making him focus on completing the quests rather than looking for probable Runescape cheats, codes or hacks for the game. With this in mind, such ideas would really keep players busy and eventually leave players wanting to be tagged successful Runescape quest participants rather than Runescape cheaters.
